Summary: The Convent is a lovely place to stay in Pokolbin, with delightfully pleasant and helpful staff. The ambience is quite in keeping with the style of the building as is the decor and the artwork. Our room had a queen size bed and private bathroom and it opened on to a large veranda with nice comfortable cane furniture. The bed was however not the most comfortable one we have slept on with the mattress being quite hard. The shower was over a high bathtub which was awkward to negotiate. Thankfully there was a grab rail. For a property being marketed as a Luxury Hotel the bed linen and towels were not up to standard. Our vanity didn’t have hot running water, which made shaving uncomfortable. Apart from those comments we enjoyed our stay thank w
