Summary: Great Property. Staff is very helpful. Great rustic and historic facility. On-site pub serves great food and great ambience. Breakfast includes traditional English style, traditional American breakfast and Continental breakfast. Only issue is you will need a car to see the area. Well worth the stay.

Summary: We had another lovely stay at The Colbourne Inn. Such a charming old coaching Inn that is full of character and has a beautiful beer garden and restaurant. We found it to be very central for reaching all the places we wanted to visit in the Cotswolds. The staff were most helpful, friendly and efficient...nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really nice too. We ate in the restaurant too, which had a nice choice and was delicious. We also had drinks every evening in the beer garden which was a lovely way to end our day touring this gorgeous part of the country.

Summary: We enjoyed our one night stay, we really enjoyed the banter with the staff during our evening meal which was lovely. The rear garden was lovely especially with the weather this year.

Summary: Great place to stop when visiting the Cotswolds. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Lovely pub and restaurant as well, reasonable prices and tasty food. Only negative is that the pub/hotel is on a noisy busy road, so I'd recommend earplugs to help getting a good nights sleep. Good quality breakfast included in the price, so a bit of bargain.

Summary: Lovely hotel and just what we needed as were attending a wedding in the area. Unfortunately in the heat of summer with all the windows open we had a lot of dust coming into the room which we ended up cleaning ourselves. We also stayed for two nights but our water in the room was not refreshed or bed remade. However staff were lovely and we would stay again (just keeping the windows closed!)

Summary: We stayed at The Colesbourne Inn for two nights while attending a wedding nearby, and it was the perfect place to stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. We only had breakfast during our stay, but it was excellent. The food was freshly prepared, generous and really tasty, and the coffee was outstanding. Overall, a lovely country inn in a great location with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We’d definitely stay again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Summary: The Colesbourne Inn was a gem of a place. When we booked it on a third party website, we still weren't sure what we would encounter. We were pleasantly surprised. My wife wanted an inn with an English countryside feel. It hit the nail on the head. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room was in the "cottage" and was very clean. The bathroom was larger than expected. We had dinner their one of the nights and the food was excellent. I had the crusted chicken on a ceasar salad and my wife had the quiche with potatoes. The gal who worker breakfast was outstanding. She took care of all the tables without any help. She was doing the work of more than 2 people. She always had a smile on her face and was humming pleasantly. Thank you for the stay. We will be back.

Summary: A lovely place with an excellent gluten free menu. Staff are exceptionally helpful and eager to please. This is a traditional pub with accommodation alongside. Stairs are steep, the road outside is busy but they try very hard to maintain the character of the building. Parking is easy and a good gluten free menu. Recommended.

Summary: Lovely country inn / hotel in nice location. Room was spacious and comfortable and surprisingly cool given it was 35C on arrival. Evening meals were ok but not great. Burger seemed shop bought rather than homemade and bacon chop/bubble and squeak portion was disappointingly small- we still enjoyed the meal though and the service was good. Only real poor spot was the breakfast and the service therein. Bacon was small and like shoe leather it had been so badly overcooked. Also, my wife asked for a fried egg over hard (ie fully cooked through) and the waitress (older lady) said, “no - a fried egg” ??? Sure enough on arrival the egg was totally runny and inedible to her taste. What happened to the customer is right?

Summary: Public house itself part of a far larger Estate. Interesting history as described by the young lady who runs the establishment with her partner. Good wholesome breakfast presented to the table as opposed to having to serve yourself. Accommodation was more than satisfactory although we did turn down the first room offered for a room on the ground floor in an annex building apparently habited by an elderly lady for most of her life. Outside seating area which afforded a pleasant sun trap although no umbrella provided. Plenty of choice on the menu for evening meal which we enjoyed immensely and even purchased a slice of lemon drizzle cake off the bar to take home with us. Although it is slightly remote it is well within the striking distance of Cheltenham and what we regarded as a reasonable price for the accommodation. Bed and pillows very comfortable and shower clean and of good quality.
