Positive: We loved the peace and quiet and the hot tub was lovely. The coach house was so cosy and the beds were amazing to have a lovely sleep.

Negative: The only issue we had was when we opened the log burner to light it a swarm of flies came from it so we ended up having to get them out of the living room which was a real pain.

Summary: Beautiful just what we needed for a nice peaceful rest.

Positive: Hot tub was amazing The decor inside was stunning Very private Grounds were great

Negative: The solar lights outside by the hot tub don't work. Only had the light from the hot tub.. Which was OK but not ideal. Messaged a few times to ask for more sugar on the Sunday morning (there was 4 little sachets available).. To which they replied yes of corse. Unfortunately 1.5hrs in there was no delivery and it was time to check out. Not a big issue but fancied another cuppa. Staff in general were great with answering enquires etc before out arrival. Make sure you book a taxi in advance! We didn't know this. For a return it cost us £44 for 6 mile round trip. There are local companies in Usk.. But you must book it in advance to ensure you get that. Ours came from Newport and the price reflected this. Between the 4 of us we were more than happy to pay.

Summary: Highly recommend.. Will be returning!

Positive: This place is just beautiful - set in the most gorgeous grounds, decorated and furnished beautifully, a great hot tub and outside space - it was perfect for a get-together with friends. The hosts were available as soon as we had an issue with the lights - got back to me within minutes of texting, and the problem was sorted quickly. Would love to stay here again one day, for longer this time!

Negative: The security light was annoying by the hot tub, very small annoyance though. Just kept going on and off while in the hot tub.

Positive: • stunning decor throughout • heated and prepared ready for our arrival • amazing hot tub and decking area • spacious kitchen and living area • cosy fire • excellent selection of board games • Freesat TV with plenty of channels • lovely rural area, very quiet • comfy beds and thick warm bedding • loads of space for young children to play • both rooms en suites

Negative: • no shoe rack or coat hooks • loose toilet seat sliding around • bedroom door and bathroom door do not close fully due to no notch in frame • signal non existent - WiFi helps but too slow to stream • no pizza cutter with all other cutlery
