Positive: The staff were unfailingly cheerful, willing and helpful - even suggesting we moved to a different room so we didn't have to manage so many stairs. The food was excellent and we were offered tea and scones when we arrived.

Negative: A loo seat that didn't fit the loo and wobbled - but a minor quibble in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Summary: Brilliant, comfortable and relaxed.

Positive: The staff were fantastic, the bed was the comfiest I've slept in at a hotel ever (I have fibromyalgia so I usually just accept I'm not going to get a good night's sleep but I slept really well!). Breakfast was delicious with a gluten free option available. It is a short walk from the central part of Hove and close to some really nice restaurants and bars. Shower pressure was excellent and the toiletries provided were nice. So many nice little touches in the room that you don't realise are nice touches until you see them :)

Negative: I forgot to mention this to the staff but the shower in room 1 seems to drain really slowly so I panicked a little about flooding the bathroom (I didn't!)

Summary: Would recommend and stay here again
