Positive: For us it was a good location as a half way point. Within a short walk to local takeaway. The property is a lovely old chapel which has been renovated well. Plenty of space for the five of us. It was nice that each room has its own en-suite. The property was well heated making for a warm stay. Good comms with the property manager.

Negative: There were a few points that are more feedback than negative. The front door looks like it’s been forced at some point and is in need of repair including removing the sharp bits of wood. The door to the main lounge is incredibly difficult to open as is the door in the en-suite of the main bedroom. The main lights in the kitchen do not work. We found the sofa although big enough for us was not very comfortable to sit on due to the hard cushions. On arrival we couldn’t find the remote for the tv, we did eventually under one of the cushions. I would suggest that because it’s aimed at potentially larger parties that the kitchen is better equipped, for example there are no large serving dishes and unfortunately no bottle opener. The view from the kitchen windows overlooks a car garage repair business, we were not there during the day so I can’t comment on how loud it would get. And I guess in the summer when it’s warmer you might want the windows to be open.

Summary: A great half way base for the family to use for a weekend stay.

Positive: Lovely property, had great decor and well furnished and well equipped kitchen. 3 bedrooms in total and all were en-suite plus had an extra toilet off living room area. There are 2 takeaways within walking distance and a small supermarket. It was only 10 minutes drive to Ironbridge

Negative: Floorboards are creaky but this was to be expected as it was a chapel previously- our 4 legged friend wasn’t too keen on this but she scares easily! It is next to a garage that repairs cars but this didn’t spoil our stay.

Summary: Great if there are a group of you to split costs. People in neighbourhood were friendly. Hosts great too in responding
