Positive: Fantastic greeting by our hosts, lovely welcome pack, great information on local area given by the hosts and also in their brilliant info folder. Cottage is warm, clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Great Resto pub five minutes up the road (The Daffodil). My fondest moment was sitting on the front terrace with my family one evening eating the nicest Chinese takeaway ever, in the lovely sunshine, with the farmer (waving at us) baling his hay in the field opposite.

Negative: Nothing. But use Google maps rather than other maps to get there!!

Negative: If I’m being really picky a more comfortable sofa and another chair would be fab but what was there was perfectly good enough.

Summary: Loved it so much booked to stay again before we left.

Positive: A very peaceful location. Mike and Lena, the owners, lived next door and met us on arrival. They made us feel very welcome and had put together a lovely pack of groceries that came in very handy. The cottage was perfect and very well equipped— they’d thought of everything.

Negative: The weather could have been better but we had plenty of sunshine along with the rain and had a wonderful holiday. There is a great pub a five minute walk away that does excellent food and has an exceptionally wide choice of craft beers

Summary: Lovely accommodation in a peaceful and beautiful location.
