Positive: The location was very peaceful, with exceptional views. The host was very helpful when we needed some assistance with the oven 😊. We went with two dogs who had some lovely places to walk and the house was suitable for them. Handy welcome pack outlined some local places of interest to visit and well equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable and have plenty of pillows to use. Great communication from the host before we arrived with directions and places to potentially visit 😀

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like. The stay and location were great for us. My only comment (not a moan as we could see pics before we booked) A stair gate as an option would be a great addition to help keep dogs from going upstairs

Positive: Beautiful views, peaceful. Friendly owners and you can relax and enjoy the quiet of the countryside. Well equipped kitchen with big fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Owners left tea coffee and some basics like salt and pepper. Also plenty of cleaning materials, towels and loo roll, bin bags and dishwasher tablets so no need to buy these.

Negative: It is very remote, this would be fine but the roads are not safe to walk due to being single track, high hedgerow and used by vehicles. You need to take a car even if you want to go for a walk. The blinds in the bedrooms don't really cut much light out so in the summer the daylight in the morning from 4.30am is quite bright, which might be a problem for light sleepers or if staying with younger kids. Overall it was a bit smaller than expected. Pictures on Booking.com always are taken to make the properties and outside space look as big as possible, but OK for maximum 4 people.... A bit cosy! There is only a parking space at the property for 1 car, although it says 4 on the information. There is an overflow with extra spaces just below to the front of the cottage on a field, grassy area so not a huge issue, but you can't see your car from the property if this is a concern for you.
