Summary: The location is wonderful right on the seafront, with a car park. The property itself could do with modernising throughout. The bar area vibe doesn’t match the style of the building. My room wasn’t particularly clean the headboard had dust and the tv was covered in dust and the remote was sticky and dirty. The shower didn’t have hot water. We didn’t have a comfortable sleep as the bed was hard and lumpy. If the rooms had a refresh it would be a great place to stay.

Summary: We always stay at the carlton when visiting folkstone the staff are very friendly and flexible with helping out its always hasstle free.

Summary: i booked 4 single rooms for 4 guests which also included a late check out , even though i wasn't staying. i was woken up by the hotel giving me a early wake up call at 3am !! in reference to the hotel windows were draughty and only single glazing my guests who needed the late check out was woken up by cleaners trying to get in the room overall experience hotel clean but probably wouldnt recommend

Summary: Well. Thin wall, you hear everthing around you and everybody . But if take earplugs you will be sleep like baby. But what you expect for that price . If you want better hotel you have to pay more . Simple

Summary: Room smelt of sewerage. Hallways smelt of weed! Beds very uncomfortable and not even as the floor wasn’t even. Walls paper thin could hear next door snoring as if they were y next to me. Don't bother with breakfast, it's toast, ham and cheese ! Even a reduced rate its not great.
