Negative: Our recent stay was rather disappointing and far below our previous experiences at this hotel. The room conditions were unbearable due to excessive heat, and there was no thermostat available to adjust the temperature, which made it very uncomfortable to stay in. We slept with partially open doors with outside temperature of about 8-9 below zero. Breakfast was another major issue. The area was overcrowded and dominated by very loud American tourists, creating a very noisy and unpleasant atmosphere where it was difficult to relax or enjoy the meal. The staff never did anything about it. While the staff were consistently polite and courteous, unfortunately, their service was ineffective. Despite multiple requests, basic arrangements were not carried out. Drivers never arrived unless we personally tracked them down, a reservation for a future stay was never made despite asking multiple times, and even a simple email required three follow-ups. Each time, we were reassured with polite smiles and promises of immediate action, but nothing was actually done. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. It was especially surprising and disappointing given how much better our previous stays at this hotel had been.

Positive: Everything! The location, the room, decor, staff (amazing), attention to details, the food and the spa. Very hard to beat this hotel. Lovely touches included remembering our preferred coffee and bread at breakfast and providing us with a little bag of snacks for our long journey home. A fabulous hotel.

Negative: Only thing for me for was the mattress was a bit hard. But my friend was happy!

Positive: Amazing overall experience: - Very clean everywhere and in great condition. It is clear the hotel is very well maintained - Very quite and chill atmosphere. The fact that the village is quiet also helped, however inside the hotel it was also aways quiet and relaxing - Service is great, everyone is very polite and helpful. Everyone spoke English - All facilities, including Spa area, library, fun area etc. - Breakfast was very tasty and the staff is very attentive

Negative: Nothing that we did not actually like, just 2 notes: - there were no tea cups in the library - the king bed is created from 2 twin beds, and if you select the twin beds, the beds are a little narrow. However none of this really bothered us, just putting it as an FYI

Positive: Everything was perfect! Our three favourite things: - The staff and hospitality - every interaction and attention was excellent by everyone in the team throughout our stay - The spa is great, very spacious, private, and well equipped - we couldn't get enough of it - The a la carte breakfast exceeds expectations, and the service and attention (especially by Leo!) were excellent every time

Negative: Only wish our stay had been longer!
