Positive: The hotel was in a great location, but the highlight was the exceptional staff. Everyone is nice, friendly, and super helpful. I took the complimentary shuttle tour offered and my tour guide Stanley was the best!

Positive: Very central, easy walk to main mosque, downtown, waterfront etc. Easy to get around (download Dart if you want to get ‘taxis’ - the local Uber but you pay in cash. Also, loved the free airport shuttle- they even came and got me at 1.30am when my plane was delayed.

Negative: It was very functional- it isn’t trying to be upmarket. That being said, the breakfast could be better. No gluten free options- although that is pretty common in Brunei.

Summary: Perfect, cost effective way to see Brunei

Positive: Comfortable accommodation, and the staff is very helpful. The van service that gets you to the main attractions and also to and from the airport was super convenient.

Negative: A bit expensive, but there aren't many options in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Positive: The location of the place is great. Staff was very helpful. The airport transfer is a huge advantage. I'd definitely recommend the place.

Negative: If I have to mention something negative, I'd say the breakfast was basic, not many options, but all in all ok.

Positive: Good value for money for the price. Free airport shuttle was very handy, but the added bonus was they will also take you around the highlights of the city free of charge as well. The driver, Boy, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what he was showing us, can't praise him enough!

Negative: Western breakfast options could have been better.
