Negative: Very dark downstairs, bathroom window is see through 😳 stairs steep and shallow not good for wobbly older folk.

Positive: The Canoeist's Hideaway is a gorgeous period property, beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the sea and close proximity to a range of amenities. The house comfortably sleeps 9 in rooms of various configurations in super comfy beds and so was perfect for our family reunion and celebration.. Much thought and effort has gone into providing everything you might need in terms of facilities, and we really enjoyed just relaxing together as a family in this beautiful space and appreciating what the house had to offer. There was a lovely dining area, a comfortable lounge, a cute snug, and a fully equipped kitchen/utility area. The main bathroom had a wonderful freestanding bathtub and a multi-function shower, and there was another bathroom downstairs to service the bedroom on the ground floor, which is really great for those with mobility issues.

Negative: Nothing to dislike! Andrew is a helpful host on hand to resolve any issue that may arise.
