The Cabin is a wonderful, open plan, green oak timber framed studio apartment nestled within neatly landscaped gardens in the residential village of Hill Head, Fareham.
Within the sleeping area of this open plan cabin you will find a superior quality king size ‘zip and link' double bed (which can separate to create 2 singles if requested), made up with crisp white cotton linen and fresh white towels. The lounge area also has a large corner sofa bed, possibly sleeping up to 3 guests in total.
The Cabin is child friendly but is restricted to one child and a cot and highchair can be made available upon request at no extra cost. (if cots are provided, guests are asked to please bring their own child's bedding).
Next to the sleeping area of The Cabin is a newly fitted shower room with corner electric shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
The kitchen is open plan to the dining and lounge area area and is practically thought out and comes complete with all essential mod cons, plus to the side of the cabin is a separate utility room accommodating the washing machine, freezer and ample space to house bicycles and other outdoor items or be used as a separate office if you need to get a little work done.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining table that can comfortably seat 6 guests which can also covert to create a 7ft pool table, table tennis or air hockey table creating a super fun games area when not dining. In addition there is a smaller round bistro table for 2-4 guests to dine more intimately if you so wish.
The lounge area is next to the dining area and is home to a large corner sofa, which can convert to create a double fold out bed, if required and has a large flat screen TV, DVD player and Bluetooth Music Speaker.
From both the living and bedroom areas are large patio doors leading onto a decking area that runs the full width of The Cabin where you relax on the sun loungers or dine ‘al fresco' during the warmer months. These look out over the lawned garden with mature borders, plus there is a BBQ area and an area to hire in a hot tub if you desire. You can also hire kayaks and paddleboards along the beach to gain access onto The Solent's waters.
All bedding and towelling is provided, with a mid term maid cleaning service available on request. Additional linen is available at £25 per set to include 1 medium bath towel.
In addition to the rental cost we ask our guests for a security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage.
Our advertised prices are calculated on the number of people requested and may go up or down if amended.
Some of our properties have age restrictions, such as where we feel it would not be suitable for younger all adult groups, such as within quiet residential areas where noise may be an issue.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at The Cabin; Chris and Anna are wonderful hosts, it was lovely to meet them. Chris was extremely helpful, especially when offering unprompted suggestions for alternative activities when our plans were affected by extreme weather on the Saturday. The Cabin itself is terrific accommodation, everything was clean, well equipped and presented very well indeed. The Cabin sits in its own private area and the decking/garden are perfect for relaxing in the day or evening. We enjoyed the pool table for Dad and son competition! The additional facilities in the outbuilding proved very useful when needing to dry out our waterproofs (portable heater) but I noted there were other useful facilities at our disposal too should we have needed them. The Cabin is located well for exploring the area to the East and West and of course the Isle of Wight. Graeme & Alex - July 2023

Summary: We choose this destination as our little minimoon stay after just getting married and it was perfect. So chilled, just what we needed after such a busy time! Right by the beach! Summary: Lovely little cabin in owners back garden (separated by fence). Self contained with everything we needed, including a fantastic games table to keep my 13 year old happy. Friendly and helpful owners. The outdoor photo makes the garden look a lot bigger than it is but the cabin was perfect for two.

Summary: We had an amazing stay here, the hosts are a lovely couple, the Cabin is so cosy and we really felt like we were on holiday. We were greeted by our host Chris, who was really friendly and helpful. The cabin is truly gorgeous and spacious, the decking is a lovely sun trap, we had everything we needed already there for us, including a welcome chocolate cake! The hot tub was ready and waiting so we could get straight in (which we totally did and then opened the pink fizz to mark the start of our girlie holiday.) The beach is just down the road and there are plenty of restaurants that deliver to the property. We didn’t venture out as I was recuperating with long Covid but we had an amazing, relaxing time just being in the cabin. There is also lots to do if you do want to venture out so we will definitely do that when we return for another stay! Chris was just a text away if we needed anything and was always willing to help. We totally recommend this place and can’t wait to stay again ☺️ Thank you so much for having us. Katie & Nikki
