Positive: What an absolute gem of a find. Beautiful and peaceful location only the sounds of the birds really glorious. Lovely big lounge area and a huge sofa for watching the TV (or falling asleep on). Great selection of items for breakfast - bread, jams and cereal. Good selection of tea and coffee. Milk and butter also provided. Pub within a few minute walking distance - great food and the longest beer garden I have ever seen

Positive: Fantastic little hideaway in a perfect location for long (and short) dog walks. Great pubs (and brewery) within easy walking distance. Very helpful and friendly hosts, even checking in on us during a short powercut. Lots of lovely details, especially the bespoke hand drawn maps around the property, which are just beautiful. Very peaceful location with lots to explore locally and within a short drive.

Positive: lovely, quiet place near the coast. Very friendly and dog friedly helpful owners. Nice living room and nice bedroom, the kitchen and the bathroom are really tiny, but offer everything you need.

Negative: the last bit of the road and the parking space is a little bit difficult to reach...scratches in my car will remind me for a long time how my first attempt to the place failed...

Summary: marvellous, quite, little house with very friedly and helpful owners. Absolutely recommendable!

Positive: Breakfast was in the property and had everything we needed, beautiful location perfect for our needs, access to the property is very steep and it might be helpful to put that in the property advertising. The local pub served lovely food and is within walking distance but you will have to negotiate that steep hill coming back!!

Negative: The only thing I would have preferred not to have was the steep stairs to the bedroom which you had to come down backwards, tricky at night as the bathroom is downstairs, it wasn’t a problem for us.

Positive: A very characterful hide away mini- cottage with beautiful views from the garden across the South Downs. We loved the rural, peaceful, and quiet location. Stunning walking direct from the door, with pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Negative: It was all fine, we liked it very much, and were blessed with sunshine. It is small and the stairs need care, but we knew this because the description was clear.

Summary: This stay gave us a great base, enabling us to combine a few days work with some welcome relaxation.

Positive: Lovely and cosy! Amazing countryside location with views of hills. Walks to Cuckmere Haven, Alfriston and Longman start in the village. Great for self catering. And also great for brewery shop and cafe for lazy breakfast and cakes! Had a great few days and will definitely return again. Thanks
