Positive: We have had a lovely long weekend stopping at burnside B&B, we stopped at the the owl cottage over the easter break and would definitely stop here again. Jenna and Martin were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The place is a little gem very quite with a couple of nice pubs just a very short walk up the hill (very easy roll back down the hill after a few beers which we did a few times lol) We stopped during storm dave and woke up with no power but hosts still arranged for temporary power for breakfast and heating. The family loved it here , we will definitely come back.

Positive: The accommodation was clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. Breakfasts were great - plentiful, good quality and tasty. Jane went above and beyond to welcome us and make us comfortable, and we really appreciated her hospitality at very short notice after the local pub (Derwent Arms) let us down (avoid!)

Positive: 4 nite stay & Loved the location - set on a secluded hillside area in the peace & quiet of the countryside - fully equipped cotttage/apartment with lovely bed & linen, kitchen area, hot & cold water, loo & shower, TV - with Fridge, microwave, etc. Excellent breakfast in the Conservatory every morning, & has wi-fi evrywhere - If you want total privacy & peace & comfort (away from Netflix & the world) I can't recommend it enough - Really can't fault a thing.. & Jenna is a lovely & very attentive host & for my personal needs it was perfect - & I Will be returning when I next need to get away from it all.
