Positive: Lovely rooms, great character & fittings with retro feel whilst also lots of modern touches. Very comfortable bed Also extremely pleased to have bath sheets provided rather than just bath towel as so many other places do - I love having a larger towel for using after having a shower. Staff were all lovely too.

Negative: Just small feedback for the room I was in - the toilet door didn’t properly shut, and was also very close to the bed so couldn’t fully open, and the toilet seat was slightly loose and moved when used. Didn’t impact my stay at all though.

Summary: Lovely setting with a very comfortable bed - great nights sleep

Positive: Lovely traditional pub in centre of village very welcoming Manager Chris is friendly and helpful as was Stef at breakfast on Tuesday Wonderful breakfast to start the day

Positive: Staff are always helpful and polite and the rooms are spacious well maintained and have a charm of their own.

Negative: Due to limited parking was unable to park onsite abd had to park on the high street, a little annoying with work and overnight bags. Unfortunately on this occasion a function started in the bar area sometime around 11pm which continued till late making it difficult to sleep (midweek stay)

Positive: The rooms were quirky because of the age of the building. Very cool!

Negative: The only thing lacking was air conditioning. One of our rooms was The Stables and that one, in particular, was excruciatingly hot in August. The windows didn't open so there was no was to cool the room down.
