Summary: Nice historic part of town with cobblestone streets. 20 minute walk to downtown and University campus. Plenty of parking. Being located in a hilly area of town, expect a little uphill traveling if walking. Nice house, pleasant hosts.

Summary: I wish we had found Brown Street Inn Freshman year! The home and neighborhood are so charming and easily walkable to downtown Iowa City (15 minutes). Our room was adorable, clean and comfortable with an in room bath. Christine and Doug were gracious hosts and the breakfast, served 8-10 am, is all homemade and delicious! This stay was super relaxed and well worth the price - we will definitely stay again.
