Positive: Quiet and certain nostalgia in the way it was done up. It definitely plays into the long history of the building. The shared toilet and shower are modern and comfortable.

Negative: The location of the power socket for the electric blanket was not immediately obvious.

Positive: Magnificent old building undergoing tasteful renovation. The hostess was very accommodating and looked after us very attentively. The breakfast was well catered and the rooms decorated in European themes with a great collection of memorabilia. Great value for a country hotel. A hidden gem!!!
