Positive: Location is good... Great value for the $$... Showers, lighting, television/wifi excellent...

Negative: Normally good here - this time the coffee pot didn't work. Let them know - said I could get one out of another room & try it... This should've been checked before when prepping the room - not our job... Also, cement floor is cold - we are in our 70's - think even indoor/outdoor carpet on the floor...

Summary: Decent stay, as we've been here a few times - worth your $$

Positive: Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower worked great

Negative: There were some issues with our tv remote controls and the heat reset itself so when we got back to the room it was set to 50

Summary: Brooks Motel was a good place to stay and satisfied our needs. We will likely be back next year

Positive: Location of the motel is great (20 min from Hudson, 20 from Great Barrington). The size of the room was great, especially considering we brought our dog as well. The room was pretty much as pictured, so I appreciate that it's a "what you see is what you get" situation.

Negative: There was definitely not enough light in the room, it was much too dim. I didn't love the sink being outside of the bathroom, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Because it's so cold in the winter, it would have been great if the area where the bed was had a carpet/rug underneath just like the TV area and an extra mat in the bathroom (floor is painted concrete). It also seems like the rooms could use a little bit of updating.
