Summary: Another memorable stay and this time celebrating our wedding anniversary at this UNESCO world heritage site 30-years ago with wonderful rooms surrounded by private and carefully tailored courtyards. The entire staff's ability to help make you feel welcome while also attending to every detail of your stay, topped by great food and service, continues to make this beautiful enclave of history and culture a world renowned experience for us.

Summary: In the past- this was a remarkable hotel- so I booked it again- after flying cross country - the room was not ready til 4 w no real help of what to do for 4 hours - the staff didn’t care. Very staid- no personal service. The room was dated and cold: the small patio facing the next door garbage. Could hear everything in room upstairs- the bedside alarm went off at 4am- the water was warm not hot- the personnel were totally indifferent to this horrific stay which I left early- they were kind enough to reduce the rate from 1500 to 1300
