Negative: Sticky floor in the room. Carpet around bed dirty. Toilet dripping. Dogs in the restaurant would not have stayed there if I had known. Breakfast was quite good the first morning went downhill there after. Toast just dried out left in toaster every morning served up like a bathroom tile.

Negative: The room, we were allocated was up a narrow winding staircase. Anybody with restrictive capacity would not have been able to negotiate the stairs. We would definitely stay again but not in that room. We are both of pensionable age.

Positive: The hotel was beautiful with lots of amenities. An arrival and departure refreshment/snack was a lovely added touch. The hotel is clean and cosy. The restaurant is wonderful and the food and service were great. The town is quaint and very quiet at night. We would love to stay again.

Negative: The only fault was there were a few bugs on the ceiling in our room, I think this was due to the windows being left open before our arrival, but it didn’t affect our stay at all.
