Negative: The tv remote doesnt work properly. You cant find the property in the dark. The postcode for sat nav sends you to the main reception and not the property.

Positive: The place was clean, tidy and it had everything that you can ask for really. It was quiet while we stayed but the British holidays haven't started yet, so we were also a bit lucky! We absolutely loved the little pond and the ducks and rabbits all around! The location was near lots of places that were worth visiting and the shops were close as well.

Negative: some of the beds weren't as comfy: the double bed was good but the twins in caravans always tend to be quite hard and you can feel almost every spring so that I used the second duvet to make the other one a bit more comfy for our child;) Otherwise everything was fine!

Positive: Everything was great with the Bobbin. A lot bigger than we thought it was from the picture. Very modern and homely. Owners are very friendly, even provided us our own Christmas tree.

Positive: Very cosy and exceptionally clean lodge. Quiet location, good for travelling to Yorkshire dales and Lake District, etc. Very relaxing and perfect place to stay with a dog. Have recommended to a few of my friends.

Negative: No where to hang wet coats/jackets. No hooks on any doors. Would appreciate a mirror in bedroom for makeup/ hair etc as one in bathroom steams up. TV signal terrible every time it rained which in our case was all day every day!

Positive: We loved the open plan leading outside to see the ducks from the duck pond, even coming right over to the veranda. We were also lucky to see a heron on morning at the duck pond. The facilities could have been a little better, as there was no blind or curtains to cover one of the doors, privacy could be an issue to some. (Highlighted to the owner who took this on board). Having a toddler extra light made it a little difficult to get him to sleep. I thought the lodge had a washing machine, but that was my error on booking. Owner was always in hand for any questions we had. Thank you Rodger. We look forward to coming back.

Negative: There is the main A6 close by, so could hear traffic at times.
