Positive: The Boathouse is that piece of your soul you always felt was missing. Every fixture and fitting, every view and walk, is built around the friendly generosity of the staff who give far more than can be expected. In the eye of a literal storm, this place was pure calm.

Positive: Wonderful location, very comfortable. The building is very new and in good condition. We loved the boat and the hot tub, and had great fun with the Land Rover Defender. Ollie was very helpful in checking us in and keeping everything squared away. It was great having access to the swimming pool in the main building.

Negative: We found the stove/heater a bit difficult to begin with, but got more skilled as we adjusted to the pace of living off grid. The shower was very warm, and the water plentiful, but gravity feed was not amazing; however we understand that there are limitations, and didn't expect a drench shower!

Summary: A bit of an adventure, lovely location and comfortable bed.

Positive: Everything else, but especially Hot tub Linen Robes Welcome bottle

Negative: I think there could be more lights to the toilet More lights in the bedroom would be good especially by the bedside Shower could be more powerful but accept limitations with off grid water supply A mattress topper would be good when the beds are joined together Maybe supply an electric kettle. You've got to get the coffee quick in a morning 😊 Maybe a sign back to the main holiday village. We made a wrong turn on the first trip down the hill We are nit picking as we loved it stay
