Summary: Lovely home, everything you need is available, owners definitely read their reviews and made thoughtful additions: lots of TP, paper towels :) Super clean and lots of fresh linens! Air conditioner was powerful and tons of cabinet space, cleaned out fridge! Would totally return!

Summary: Our annual trip with mom who is 90 plus took us south to visit Lake Geneva. We stayed at the Blue Cottage because of the space, accessibility and the lovely lakefront setting. It did not disappoint. It was a 20-30 drive into Lake Geneva and less than 10 minutes from Union Grove. The house is spacious and offered plenty of room to gather together or relax on our own. There is a second story master suite, 2 bedrooms with full bath on the main level and 2 bedrooms and bath on the lower level with a second living area. While we didn't see any eagles on eagle lake, we did have daily visits from herons and egrets who visited at the lakeshore.

Summary: This is a a very nicely newly remodeled cottage home. Great gathering areas for large groups. Love the years on the lake with a gray fire pit. The home was also very clean upon arrival. Since home is new, maybe owners still stocking up on some basic things, so I would suggest getting extra blankets for those cold Wisconsin nights , stocking an extra roll or two of toilet paper in the bathroom (there was only 1 roll on the TP holder so we had to go out and purchase more), salt and pepper in the kitchen, and beach towels (only saw three). Also service the hot tub ; it took a full day to heat up and it only got to 95 degrees so we couldn’t use during our short stay.

Summary: We rented this cottage to house family members in town for my dad's celebration of life. I grew up in the area and knew that hotel options were limited near Kansasville, so was looking for a convenient, quiet place where we could talk about my dad. The cottage was perfect! The top floor suite gave my husband a chance to get away from his in-laws, and the distribution of bedrooms (1 up, 2 main floor, 2 in the basement) allowed the adults to spread out and have their own space. We really enjoyed the open floor plan of the kitchen/living room/dining room where we could spread out, drink coffee, and enjoy the sunrise. Although we were there in winter (and received a 4+ inch snowfall overnight!), we still enjoyed the lakeside location for its views. My more intrepid cousins even ventured out to take in the stars from the hot tub!
