Positive: Situation in a serene spot overlooking a canal but with amenities close by and in walking distance of the city centre the location is perfect. Communication prior to the stay and support from Cezar on arrival was excellent and the property itself is quirky and very comfortable.

Positive: The location of the house with a view of the canal was great. The host Cezar was very helpful. He helped us with our luggage both at the entrance and exit. We are grateful to him. The only small negative was that the bed was not very comfortable, but we were still very comfortable.

Positive: I was largly disappointed with this apartment as it was listed to have a kitchenette and this was the main reason i booked to keep food costs down, however it did not specified until you arrived that you could not use the cooking facilities inside the apartment. It was also not listed anywhere that there was a no noise policy after 11. You had to be silent coming in and out of the apartment after 11 but were also told to keep quiet at all times. There were posters asking you to take shoes off before entering the close area. As this was a weekend break, i feel this should have been stated as i did not enjoy sneaking in and out of the apartment. The final issue was the fact that the apartment was largly unheated. It did have heating, but this did not work at night. There was a notice at the heater saying it would not work after a certain time, again with this being a weekend break i feel this should have been clearly listed as i was not getting home most nights untill after the heating stopped working, you also were not allowed to leave heating on when you were out so the apartment was mostly cold for my stay.

Positive: Location is great. Historical building, nicely renovated. Great views of the canal. Lovely neighbourhood.

Negative: On the Friday night (not the 2 nights previous) it was extremely noisy during the night.I had the impression that some of the revellers were even trying to be purposely loud. That wouldn't be such a problem if the windows were insulated. Because they are not, there is almost no dulling of the noise. During the days and the other 2 nights it was quiet.
