Positive: Good spacious room. We loved the quirky design and Texas touches! Would stay again.

Negative: With no-one onsite, you had to call a number to check-in. We were travelling from the UK and our mobile reception wasn't great, and to call US was an added cost.

Summary: Quirky, comfy stopover and great value.

Positive: The feeling of a Texan experience for the benefit of my visiting friend.

Negative: Nothing was really wrong. I was looking for a simple and good ole boy feeling. My friend is from Pennsylvania and says she’s a “Texan”. I wanted her to feel the “bigness of our state. The property didn’t fail.

Summary: Fun overnight stay for a caricature of Texas. Nice job.

Positive: Friendly staff and easy check in was so convenient. Loved that the property had a small dog park for our girls. Also liked the king bed and the great water pressure in the shower.

Negative: Only thing I didn’t like was that we received way too many checkout notices via text/email before our 11am checkout time. It’s a small thing but seemed excessive and unnecessary.

Summary: Enjoyed our short stay and will stay again when we are traveling from Austin to Colorado.

Positive: The Big Texan Vibe in that the restaurant and motel being co-located lends itself to great convenience. Too the proximity to the Interstate. Great food, great beer, great location, great entertainment...Great all the way around! Our Waitress was AMAZING!

Negative: The tables at the "bar" were small which I can understand as I assume they don't want to rob from main restaurant however made it difficult for a party of 6 (on a motorcycle trip to Sturgis) to remain "together". Asked if we could join tables and politely told no. Uggg... PS...wish they would bring breakfast back.

Summary: Wonderful...have stayed many times over the years and will continue to do so!
