Positive: Good food and large portions in this genuine village pub that is popular with locals. Excellent breakfast. Ideal facility for EV drivers, as there are two PodPoint AC chargepoints, with no overstay fees, so you can leave the car to charge to 100% overnight. And the tariff is a very reasonable 50p/kWh.

Negative: Initially there was no heating in the room and it was very cold (late November). But the manager quickly attended to the problem and got the heating started.

Summary: Good food; great breakfast. EV chargepoints are ideal.

Positive: The rooms were nice and a good size, clean and well maintained. Bathroom was nice and clean.

Negative: Beds weren’t terribly comfortable, someone had the tv blaring at full volume both nights I stayed there.
