Summary: Breakfast and location are great. Rooms need to be updated and refreshed. When I dropped my bag off ahead of checking in later in the day the receptionist was having a conversation with another member of staff. This conversation continued when she was dealing with me. This was a a bit rude and not a good first impression. Do not think I would rush back here.

Summary: The Bell Hotel is in an excellent location for a relaxing site seeing, walking, cycling & golfing break. Although the rooms were a little tired, the hotel has attractive amenities & the staff were very friendly & welcoming.

Summary: Decent place to stay - large airy room, nice bar and restaurant, cheerful and helpful staff. Very good location. Interior a bit tired and shower a bit temperamental. I would definitely stay again.

Summary: Wonderful hotel in lovely town. Check in and out was easy. Room was at the top up many stairs. Huge bed, Dyson air chiller, Great selection of teas, hot chocolate and a coffee machine with 3 different coffee pods. Cookies also provided. Bathroom was generous, shower very hot. We had dinner out, but we spent the evening in the bar watching England vs Argentina. Great beer and atmosphere (until England lost). Breakfast was delicious, although service was slow (limited self-service). Fabulous selection of hot food. My one critism was I was only given a small pot of tea, and there was no one about to provide a refill when I needed it.
