The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and we loved waking up to the soft morning light streaming through the window. Spotlessly clean, quiet, and peaceful—everything you could hope for. And then there’s the breakfast. Wow. Fresh, local ingredients, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Easily better than many high-end hotels or restaurants. Every morning felt like a special treat. The location is perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently close to nearby sights and attractions. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, it’s the ideal base. We honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay. It was outstanding from start to finish. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our return. If you’re lucky enough to find availability—book it. This place is a true gem in the Welsh countryside.

Positive: The staff were wonderfully friendly. We were delayed and arrived a few hours later than planned - but it was no problem for them at all. The cooked breakfast was one of the best quality I’ve had in a pub/hotel. Delicious. The room was simple, recently decorated and spotlessly clean. Also very helpful info from the staff about other local businesses.

Negative: It was perfect for what we needed.

Summary: Lovely pub, great staff, delicious food in a beautiful little village setting.
