Positive: We spent a fantastic month at Bay Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce and could not have been happier. The villa sits right on the lagoon, so every meal came with a sweeping turquoise view and a gentle sea breeze. The swimming pool is perfectly placed between the house and the water, which meant we could enjoy the island vibes from the pool’s edge overlooking the bay every day. Inside, everything felt designed for easy living. The kitchen is large and well-stocked. The bedrooms were airy, the beds were large and somewhat comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless throughout our stay thanks to Melisia (the housemaid) cleaning them daily. The WiFi was fast and steady, which kept work and meetings smooth, and the alarm system added peace of mind fro us during our stay. Generally, the service made the experience even better. Melisia took care of the house with a quiet efficiency that let us relax completely; she kept every room clean and handled any request we had. Isabelle was equally thoughtful, always quick to answer questions and help with arrangements, making us feel looked after from start to finish. If you are after beautiful scenery, reliable comfort, and hosts who genuinely care, The Bay Villa delivers. We left rested, happy, and already planning a return visit next year :)

Negative: The pool is shared with other houses, which may sometimes host noisy neighbors and kids. Besides that everything was perfect.

Positive: Large house with great views on the bay. Excelent communication with owner, who helped us organize various activities there. Great housekeeper Melissia, who is very good chef, she prepared us wonderful seafood or fish for dinner.

Positive: Great views of the bay. Large house with great very warm infinity pool. Great housekeeper, Melisia, who speaks excellent English, who is a very good chef. She cooked up a wonderful fish/shrimp curry. Great communication with owner too. Very good restaurants and sort walk away, some of the best meals we had on our holiday that took in 4 different locations.

Negative: All good. When we arrived heard some music coming from the cruise boats returning from trips to Ile aux Cerfs. We cursed them but following day, we went on the same cruise and had a brilliant day out. So really can’t complain about the noise.

Summary: Excellent house and great views and fabulous restaurants within 10 minutes on foot.

Positive: The view is amazing , especially in the sunset. The pool is big enough to accommodate everyone. The good place for quite and relaxing family vacation. There are a few grocery shops nearby, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything. The car is a must if You like to explore the island. The host is great , full of useful info, advices and etc. Good value for such price.

Negative: There are no good beaches in walking distance, but a good Palmar beach is couple of minutes drive.
