Positive: Stunning, amazing location, and friendly host.

Negative: Very very tiny for 2 people, especially when one is a 6'3" man. The kitchen was equipped with the basics but was missing some things we needed. There was some coffee and tea supplied but it would have been nice to have some milk provided too to tide us over until we could make it to the nearest town to get some (there is a bottle of wine but milk would be more useful for us). Similarly there is shampoo and hand soap but no conditioner or shower gel/soap.

Summary: Beautiful, extremely remote location and a very tiny living space.

Positive: Helena the host was extremely helpful. the Bay Shepherds Hut is in a perfect tranquil location right by the side of the loch at Dundonnell. stunning location with its own garden, decked area, BBQ, fire pit, etc. Oh, and when the tide goes out, there is a small beach right on the doorstep!

Negative: There was nothing to dislike

Positive: The view was amazing. The location stunning. The whole Hut was cozy and we enjoy the stay very much. The owners were welcoming and gave great tips in the area what to do/see and where to go for good food. Recommend very much! Will be back when we are in the area.

Negative: The bed was bit smaller and less comfortable but did not discourage us from the stay at all. We were cozy.

Negative: Nothing really except the bed took some getting used to. A bin for the rubbish never appeared so we had to bring it home.

Positive: Location is fantastic, right on the shoreline of the loch. Constantly changing views of the water, wildlife and surrounding countryside. Well equipped and maintained cabin. Good location for exploring the area. Easy to use cooking facilities, lots of hot water and good shower. Provided with fire pit and BBQ, which we didn’t get around to using!

Negative: The bed is a double but a bit on the small side but that is being picky..
