Positive: We stayed In the Hayloft, which is a fantastic self-contained little apartment.

Negative: The only minor fault I could find was that there was no curtain or blind on the front door and we were awake at daybreak with the light coming in. The bedroom is downstairs.

Negative: The only tiny downside for us was the gentle hum of the refrigeration system overnight, which affected our sleep slightly. Otherwise, we couldn't fault our stay.

Positive: A very nice self-catering unit next to a pub

Negative: Unfortunately the pub and restaurant were not open during our two night stay. booking.com website stated that the restaurant would be open during our stay, also that breakfast would be available for all booking options. Neither was the case. I contacted the host by email suggesting they ensure the property description is corrected. We had booked this property mainly for the highly reviewed restaurant for a celebration dinner - obviously this was not possible.

Positive: The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely ensuite and toiletries. The room also had tea/coffee making facilities and extra treat of brownies! The breakfast was amazing - possibly one of the nicest breakfasts I've had!

Negative: There are no taxis available! I stayed as I was attending a wedding locally and couldn't get a taxi for love nor money - even the owner told me on arrival it would be impossible to source one!
