Positive: Just what we needed for our working weekend. Somewhere comfortable to spend the evenings, the location was lovely and quiet and it was an easy journey to get to the showground

Positive: Liked that the bedrooms were identical (both doubles with ensuite and built in wardrobe) and felt safe. Hosts checked we were warm enough during the storms (which we were!)

Positive: Much more spacious than expected, clean and well equipped.

Negative: Rooms changed from a twin and a double as booked to when we arrived two doubles. As a family with a boy and girl child we raised this issue as we wouldn't of booked and the owner was kind to quickly add a single bed in. This should be updated on future bookings now hopefully. A shame as we would of liked to return but won't be able to with the two double rooms.

Positive: The property was SPOTLESS. The host was delightful and very patient with us, as we hadn’t been clear on arrival times etc and also managed to get a little lost. The property sits within a working stable, that was also impeccable. There was no noise or mess disturbance. The property is cosy, but with sufficient space for cooking and eating; the showers are hot and powerful. The hosts had provided additional heating as it was snowing during our stay.

Negative: I literally cannot fault this property or the host.

Summary: An absolute gem of a property; beautifully maintained with charming and thoughtful host.

Positive: Hosts were excellent and very accommodating. The property was well kept and super comfortable, with 2 en suite showers that were very good! Wifi and Sky available and we’re great, as I actually worked remotely during our stay.

Negative: The property is a little remote, so a little travelling is required for anything. The bed was a little worn / broken, but the hosts changed it immediately which was great.

Summary: Perfect, comfortable, and great value!
