Positive: The house is located in a charming, very quiet village. The garden is huge and very well-kept, and there’s plenty of space on the property to park your car. The house is very cozy and spacious; downstairs there is the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, a small sitting area, and the shower. We didn’t have any trouble with the staircase leading up to the bedrooms, but it’s true that it might be difficult for an older person to climb. The host, Aat Jan, is very friendly and attentive. He welcomed us very warmly.

Negative: There really wasn’t anything to complain about—the only thing, perhaps, is that because of the house’s heating system (the downstairs has underfloor heating), it was a bit chilly upstairs.

Positive: The property around the unit is simply amazing! Private garden space was beautiful and tranquil, and the surrounding walking trails were stunning.

Negative: It was pretty hot during our stay, but fans were provided and the windows open wide for ventilation with framed screen doors to stop bugs.

Positive: It was a lovely location, lovely house and garden, lovely owner, very friendly. Very comfortable beds and everything provided, have decided I love The Netherlands 🇳🇱. A very enjoyable stay, plus we had beautiful weather which was a bonus 😊

Negative: The fact that there is only one toilet situated downstairs, which makes it difficult, for those of us that are disabled, in the night, I nearly fell down the stairs a couple of times.

Positive: Great location, interesting garden, well decorated!

Negative: It would really benefit from having an oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. The shower drain was very slow. The toilet on the main floor opposite the bedrooms (upper floor) is problematic for those who need to get up at night since you need to go down/up a flight of stairs. The ducks and geese at the pond were chatty all night, but this was also kind of fun too.
