Positive: The attention to detail that Rachel gives to The Barn is truly amazingly. A wonderful welcome pack greeted us when we arrived and we immediately relaxed and started to enjoyed our break. The Barn was comfortable and clean but so much more than that and we recommend a stay here wholeheartedly.

Negative: There was some traffic noise and the roads were busier than we expected, but that is not the fault of The Barn and we soon found lovely walks and drives through the forest.

Positive: Beautiful Barn. Attention to detail is amazing ! The interior decor is very tasteful. Welcome pack on arrival with gin and tonics.. juice.. beer.. butter.. jam.. milk..cookies..bread was very much appreciated. Candles prelit for our arrival. Lovely private garden.. wonderful location. Rachels communication text messages were great with good info for finding the property and answered quickly.

Positive: We had such a lovely time on our little Xmas break. Walked into the barn to be greeted by candles, the radio playing & a beautiful Christmas tree. There was a welcome pack consisting of bread, milk, butter, jam & juice which was very much appreciated! We had also been left some gin & tonic, snacks & mince pies which was a lovely touch! The barn is a perfect size, really warm, we didn't need to use the log burner though we really wanted to! It is in the perfect location, ideal for us when going out & about. The bathroom resembled a spa, with white fluffy towels & bath robes which was a lovely touch! All in all, a perfect hideaway for a few days.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. Only thing I can mention is you can hear the cars going past on the road.

Summary: A brilliant cosy retreat in an ideal location with beautiful personal touches.

Positive: Very inviting on arrival - lighted candles; G&T awaiting on the table; lovely welcome pack. Friendly owners. Absolutely stunning barn. All what one required was insitu. Beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous roaming ponies and wildlife. Lots of places to go - Bournemouth, Poole. Great places to eat - High Corner Inn, Queens Head, Jolly Sailor. The weather was on our side too. Fabulous 3 nights away. Would definitely recommend 🙏

Positive: The barn is perfect for 1 or 2 people. It's absolutely immaculate with many individual touches which were very thoughtful. The bed was fantastically comfortable. The host really has thought of everything! They clearly take great pride in providing a perfect stay and they were extremely accommodating. I didn't want for anything. Will definitely be back. Absolutely gorgeous.

Negative: Actually... surprisingly noisy. The barn itself is set back from the road and private, but the road which passes by is a busy one. Not a problem for next time -- I'll bring earplugs!

Positive: Wow, we walked through the door and were greeted with chilled out music playing, lit candles, a tray with Gin & Tonics, glasses and a lemon on the table. However even this was not enough, in the kitchen was a loaf of crusty bread, butter, beers in the fridge and a jug of fresh orange🤩 What a wonderful thoughtful host Rachel is🥰 The barn was immaculate with absolutely everything you could wish for from a log burner, books, dvds to a picnic hamper plus idyllic surroundings to sit out. Superior accommodation to the highest standard 👏🏻
