Positive: Really lovely hotel set in very picturesque surroundings. Good size room and bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Food and drink was excellent and all of the staff were superb

Positive: Was a lovely location , very clean and lovely rooms. Food very nice , staff welcoming . Television great selection

Negative: I booked a suite room. Said lake view and sofa ( which can be used as a bed) when arriving no lake which the receptionist explained there is an error on booking .com description but also the sofa hasn’t arrived yet . Now it was only just me but however I paid more for that room and it wasn’t complete room. She said I could have a smaller normal room but I had already paid in advance for the room I was in. I would have thought before my stay I would have been told their isn’t x,y,z in the suite you have paid more for . It is only about £30 difference I think but still . Also room was very cold and the air con unit went up to 24degress but still wasn’t pumping out hot air just still cold . The room was lovely just felt un finished. Also no dressing table area with mirror.

Positive: A lovely welcome and fantastic service by the receptionist, the rooms are spacious and delightful, freshly decorated to high standards and comfortable feel.We stayed two night and enjoyed some walks in the area, it was a beautiful location. There were very well training and lovely staff throughout the whole site, especially in the upstairs restaurant they were very friendly and accommodating to ensure a wonderful guest experience.We were served by Holly many times who always made time to see if we needed anything else and we felt very well looked after and the food was beautiful and very specialised to a high quality of expertise We loved the lady at breakfast too who was very enthusiastic and her attitude was enlightening and was a great start to each day, thanks for such a wonderful experience, we would highly recommend
