Positive: Great property and great location, if you don't mind being down a farm track with cattle grids, which was fine by us.

Negative: I didn't find the sofas very comfortable, but that's just a personal preference. They needed a footstool for me.

Positive: Picturesque cottage in a beautiful rural location. Spacious and well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Close enough to local amenities and sights but at the same time far enough to enjoy a tranquil get-away

Negative: We recently stayed at the cottage and while it’s in a peaceful setting and is well-equipped inside, there were a few issues worth noting. Access is a real challenge. If you don’t have a 4x4, getting there could be nearly impossible. Half the road isn’t really a road — just a muddy farm track. It had rained during our stay, making it even worse. On top of that, local farmers had their tractors parked along the route and weren’t willing to move them, forcing us to drive through fields to get to the cottage — not ideal The cottage itself is tidy and clean and has everything you need for a short stay, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. So much so that the sofa was a much better option! Better mattresses and pillows would go a long way toward improving the experience. No toiletries were provided apart from hand soap and a body wash in the showers, contrary to the pictures and description on the lising The BBQ was unusable as it was old and rusty and the BBQ area itself (table and chairs) were rusty and dirty. Shame as the view from the back garden is gorgeous and we would have really enjoyed being outside more On our second day, we were woken up just before 8am by a large dog barking literally through the bedroom door and it went on continuously until about 3pm. While we understand there are three adjacent properties on the estate, the listing clearly states no pets are allowed — so we expected a more peaceful environment. We tried to contact the host via the WhatsApp contact provided to try and address the matter but only got a response three days later, and the issue was quickly closed without proper follow-up. There was no personal touch or any sort of support. We do understand that a barking dog is an inconvenience rather than an issue but I wouldn't like to think a real issue would have not gotten a look at until well after we have left....

Summary: Lovely rural setting with stunning views but a lot more to be desired for a comfortable stay

Positive: Absolutely amazing place and beautiful and clean accommodation. There are really few accommodations like this. Most of them look worse than on the photos. This accommodation is completely true to reality, my colleagues were really very satisfied here. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer. We would love to come again. Thank you for everything. 100% satisfaction

Positive: Location is beautiful, about 3/4 mile from the road down a 1car track. So peaceful apart from the sounds of birds and the river. Very comfortable bed. Good shower. House was really warm which was lovely as it was minus degrees outside.

Negative: Good contact before stay with informative emails. And then nothing; not even a reminder email re what to do before you leave
