Your spacious suite with gas fireplace is in the family home, nestled in a sunny forest, setback quietly off an easy access main road in Beachcombers, Gibsons, B.C. Enjoy all the amenities of this oceanside town. Close to beach and local shops but set in the woods. Wheelchair accessible suite with a queen bed, exposed beam, bathroom has a wheel in shower and grab bars for piece of mind. Cable/Netflix/YouTube/WiFi, coffee maker and tea. There is a $20 fee for each friendly pet per night.

Summary: Tea was very welcoming and an efficient. Once he met us and told us what we needed to know about our stay, he left us with our privacy. We loved the suggestion he gave us for dinner down by the water. The suite was fully accessible, spacious and spotless. The bathroom was without barriers. The area used by guests is at the front of the house and very private. The entrance to the suite is used only by the guests but is only separated by a curtain which allows conversation from the host family to be heard as you’re entering the suite. Otherwise the suite is very quiet and private. The night we were there it was unusually hot, but the suite was quite comfortable even without air conditioning. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed - a fridge, keurig coffee maker, and toaster along with dishes and cutlery. We felt the host did everything to ensure a comfortable stay, even chocolate on our pillows! The fireplace would’ve be lovely on a cold night. We especially enjoyed the exclusive use of the large and partially covered deck. We would have loved to stay here for the rest of our vacation in Gibsons but because of our last minute planning, it was booked. The Apple Room is situated on a large well kept property, set back from the road, hidden and surrounded by trees which adds to its charm.

Summary: Loved the space and scenery! Room is super cozy and well stocked with all the essentials! Tea our host was especially lovely. Greeted us upon arrival and was very happy arm and inviting. Will definitely be back to stay upon our next coastal getaway.

Summary: We just spent three lovely nights at the Apple Room in Gibsons, BC. The room was very cozy and comfortable and the beautiful big patio served as our living room as the weather was spectacular. The accessibility of the room was very important to us as my partner is in a wheelchair. The Apple Room did not disappoint with its ramp, door opener and wheel in shower - all tastefully done to serve as universal supports. The grounds were beautiful and conveniently located to shopping and a short drive to downtown Gibsons. We were visited by deer throughout the day, which our dog was not that happy about but we enjoyed. Our dog was welcomed and there were even dog toys and water dishes available. The room was stocked with everything you could need for a short stay. We usually bring a lot of stuff with us but next time we won't bother because it was all there for us. Our host, Tea, was a great communicator and available for anything we might have needed. Thanks for your hospitality.We will definitely come back the next time we are on the Sunshine Coast.
