Welcome to The Apollo! We are located in the heart of Avondale in West Ashley — a highly desirable neighborhood that’s only 10 minutes (2.5 miles) from downtown and 15 minutes (10 miles) from Folly Beach. Within 0.5 miles, there are a dozen restaurants and bars, a coffee shop, grocery store, pharmacy, laundromat, salon, two spas, a gym, and a yoga studio.
Our space is a separate apartment attached to our house. You have your own driveway, porch, and entrance. While we don’t have a full kitchen, there is a mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave.
You enter the rental into your own living room with a pull-out queen sofa. Beyond that, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has one queen bed and the other has two queen beds.

Summary: If you’re just looking for a place to sleep it works okay. Other than that it had seating for 3 (was advertised to sleep 8) and it wasn’t comfortable at all. Master bed was hard as a rock. Can’t tell you about the other 2 beds in the other room. Rushed into booking due to 2 full beds in 1 room for my daughter, her boyfriend and my grandson. Should have thought it through more thoroughly. Will definitely not use again.

Summary: The location was great! It worked perfectly for us to explore Charleston from. We really liked the noon checkin and 3pm checkout time. The property was very clean and quiet. We would definitely rent again for our next visit to the Charleston area.
