Positive: Staff was really nice and helpful. Location is great. Electric bikes are awesome.

Negative: I’m a vegetarian so breakfast wasn’t exactly the best part of the day for me but that’s true in general for any place I visit.

Negative: The suite was pretty and very clean. The view is stunning, but I must say I was underwhelmed and disappointed by the service. I had specifically asked housekeeping to come in at 1pm because I wanted to step out for the cleaning staff, but they forgot which is disappointing since it was my first day of an only 3 day stay. I find it uncomfortable to stay in while housekeeping is working so I had planned to step out accordingly but ended up having to stay in the room while cleaning was going on anyways. Room service was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I had to ask specifically for my dishes from the last room service order to be cleaned up which is disappointing for a hotel rated 5 stars. In the evening my TV was broken and they did fix it but it was definitely not pleasant to be in my suite(!) after an exhausting day and having to sit through reparations (they had to change the whole TV) . So, my visit did not reflect the 5 star experience I was paying for. Since I was only there for 3 days it definitely took away from experience I was hoping for. I’ve had 4 star properties doing a better job at being attentive especially since I was staying in a suite.

Positive: We loved everything about The Aoyama Grand Hotel. The hotel is exquisite, and the staff exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable and responsive to our requests. The hotel is beautiful and has a wonderful vibe. The casual restaurant on the lobby level was great and fun, the rooftop bar phenomenal, and their sushi restaurant, Sushi Kanesaka, epic. The view from our room was majestic. We can't wait to return.

Negative: I can't think of one thing that we didn't like during our wonderful stay.
