Summary: We previously stayed at The Angel two years ago to attend a wedding nearby. We stayed again for 2 nights and could not fault the bedroom or cleanliness throughout. All the staff were super efficient, helpful and welcoming. Renewing our water without asking too - always a bonus after a heavy night! It has a refurb of the rooms and dining areas since we were last there and everything was ship-shape.

Summary: We stayed over as we were attending a wedding in the local area. This property is amazing in every way I would love to go back near Christmas time as I can image it would be wonderful. The staff are very friendly the food was the best and our room was the best with a really lovely bathroom too.

Summary: Really great stay - I arrived late, but service was very prompt despite this. Room was lovely and shower (pressure and temperature and enclosure) was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast in the morning (full English) set me up for the day and the staff were very friendly and chatty. A great stay, a lovely place, I will be back.

Summary: We were very happy with our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed and had food in the evening and that was also very nice. We will definitely return.

Summary: So lovely bed extremely comfortable, had omelette for breakfast it was really tasty and hot. Would stay again. Just one criticism, they don't have sweeteners.

Summary: Lovely old pub near to shops. Room and bathroom were clean though bed somewhat hard for our liking. Good breakfast choices
