Summary: The Angel Hotel was the perfect place for our short stay in Abergavenny. It’s location was perfect for walking to the castle and to many local shops and restaurants. We also had our breakfast there and it was superb.

Summary: Centrally located in town. The hotel was very pretty with several indoor and outdoor tables for dining, having a drink or just relaxing. Would recommend highly. Please be aware that although Expedia states there is free parking, parking is limited and if the car park is full you will need to park in the long stay parking across the street. Alternatively, you can reserve parking prior to your stay for 14 pounds/day.

Summary: Our only criticism would be that our room (a superior-room No 5) was very small and the bathroom (shower only) was too too small. In all, it felt claustrophobic and we were on the street side so a fair amount of traffic noise. Apart from the above a beautiful hotel/location with very friendly staff.
