Summary: It was a 7-10 experience ice machine isn’t the best no microwave in the room so kinda was an inconvenience. The ac needed the filter cleaned and the room gets hot so that was another inconvenience. There was also blood on towels. Other than that it was good

Summary: The advertisement about parking is deceptive at best. They advertise “valet” but even if you park the care yourself, they want to charge you $19.00 per day. Valet parking…$19.00 per day. There is plenty of street parking (metered) and you receive 30 min per quarter. But, guess what, the front desk and valet refuse to give you quarters for the meters. So, bring plenty of quarters and don’t bother paying for parking. It’s not worth it. In terms of the rooms, overpriced and need serious modernization. For the price they are charging, you should expect better services whether quality towels or toiletries. They advertise a “restaurant on-site.” We arrived at 6pm on Friday and the restaurant had closed at 5:30. Very disappointing. The toilet in a room was small, more for children than adults. We stayed in room #202 which was at one end of the floor. It smelled musty and some of the light builds in the 5-6 lamps were not working. On a good note, the complimentary breakfast was good and the staff who served breakfast were kind and very nice. Otherwise, be careful, this hotel is across the street from the local rail station. This hotel is prob a 5 out of 10 with the price tag and lack of modern amenities/room as the worse problems.

Summary: Bad first impression when hotel elevator door opened and the carpet on the elevator looks like it hasn’t been replaced since 1920. Dirty, worn, coming apart. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Not even the standard hotel breakfast. We called asking for items to the room two nights in a row (pillows, towels, etc) and nothing ever came, even after calling to check in. Will not return.

Summary: The good: location. The not so great: parking is $20 per day. There is no fitness room, and no solution with a nearby gym. The bathroom has no vent or fan. The TV in our room didn't work, and none of us (including smart teenage techies) could get it working. The fire alarm (LOUD) went off at 0900 on Sunday morning for about 20 seconds, then went off with no explanation. The person at the front desk was the only employee we saw for much of our visit. That person was friendly, but we couldn't get extra towels, or valet key, or other asks in a timely manner, if they were busy - or not there (on a break?). We still haven't received our final bill, and we checked out 5 hours ago. None of this is awful, but I paid almost $1000 for two nights, and one would hope for a better experience.

Summary: During our stay, we had asked for towels on three different occasions. We never got them from the staff. A storage room was open, and we got them there. Also during our stay, a front desk employee gave a room key to an another guest. A half hearted apology was received. The apology from the employee seemed to mean “please don’t escalate this situation and get me trouble.” The staff tried to push us out before our scheduled checkout due to other guests arriving. The condition of the room was also subpar. The shower drain was clogged and after a 5 minute shower, you were standing in ankle deep water. The location is awesome though. That is the only upside to this hotel. Definitely not worth the price we paid for the room.

Summary: I stayed here years ago so I thought I would try it again. Extremely noisy room, I don’t know why they bother to put up doors. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again. Not worth the money I paid.

Summary: First off, will say the location is amazing as it's across the street from LIRR. Hotel looks very promising on the outside, but the extremely bright 'discount store' overhead lights was a turn off, not very welcoming. The room size was great, simple and ok, however was a little tattered + bathroom small + dated. It was fine to crash for a night, but most likely will not return
