Positive: Building is beautiful, historic, comfortable, well-maintained, in a great location. Check in process is super easy and convenient. Great value for price.

Negative: Part of the reason I booked it was because it was advertised as having a free hot breakfast from 7-9am (ie. being a true "B&B"). However, after I completed the booking I received a notice that they no longer do breakfast, which was disappointing. I had to leave at 8am for work, however I believe there was a sign saying they would be serving coffee and tea at 9am, so at least that's something

Positive: Room #5 was small, but quiet, clean, and comfortable. Easy check in. Shared bathroom facilities were clean. Arrived late evening and left early morning to catch an out-of-town bus, so it worked well for an overnight stay at a good price. Note: two flights of stairs to get to this room (it was ok for me but might be an issue for some).

Positive: Lovely place, it is clean, everything is provided. The bed is soft but very comfortable. Everything matches what you see in the pictures.

Negative: Most of the tenants were quiet and polite, but these two ladies were chatting in the living room downstairs FOREVER. They were talking and lauging until 1am! I could hear every single word clearly because my room is the first one on the second floor. Had to go and tell them to be quiet. When you think something is common sense but it doesn't make sense to everyone.

Positive: The residence is quiet, clean, and centrally located for my purposes. Off-street parking is convenient. Within easy walking distance (15min) from parliament hill. National Gallery is a 20 minutes walk.

Negative: It wasn't free. At all. Woe is me. (Ha!Ha!Ha!)

Summary: No surprises. Very good quality for reasonable cost.
