Summary: The hotel has been recently renovated. I loved our room, modern mixed with recycled older furniture. Staff were excellent. The food was amazing, our evening meal was absolutely delicious, I would definitely return just for the food. Breakfast was great too! Overall a fantastic stay and we would definitely return.

Summary: We had a really nice room, it had a king size bed and was very tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom and walk in shower. Breakfast was freshly made and very nice. Would absolutely stay here again. Plenty of free on street parking and a big car park across from hotel. Alyth itself is really nice with lots of individual nice wee shops. Would recommend it.

Summary: Looked like it had closed down. No electric in bar or restaurant so had to eat evening meal elsewhere. Shabby and in desperate need of an upgrade. It was clean and we did get a bigger room for the 3 of us. Breakfast greasy.

Summary: Lovely spot overlooking the river, staff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful. Also dried our some very wet walking gear for us. Big thank you. Comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast was somewhat basic and service a bit slow, but otherwise fine.

Summary: Stayed here 2 years ago and hotel was great. This year not so good, bit run down, no atmosphere, ate elsewhere at night. Breakfast was good.

Summary: Very disappointing.Staff in the dining room we’re lovely but the hotel and the rooms were very poor and not very clean.

Summary: Serving staff pleasant and helpful. Nice breakfasts but could do with fresh fruit and yoghurts. Cleanliness issues - clothes found in drawer when checked in, empty crisp packet and sweet wrapper behind bedside cabinet, hairs in bath plug hole, stains on mattress protector. Daily cleaning and change of towels lacking. Replenishment of bathroom accessories a nd tea/coffee etc lacking.Little reasonable storage. Expelair and light not working. Had to run tap for 5 mins to get hot water. Could feel springs in mattress. Furnishing VERY tired looking. Thin curtains.
