Summary: What a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Already planning to return and I haven’t left yet! Staff are all very kind and helpful, the room was gorgeous (102), food amazing, right on the beach and pool is perfect. Can’t fault it!

Summary: We stayed for two nights during high season in July with my husband and two kids. The room was booked a few months out so price was average for the season, but felt high considering the room quality. The bathroom was clean but fixtures / tiles a bit outdated (and the shower was VERY tight, even by European standard), and there were stains on the carpet and baby crib that were provided. However - the staff was amazing, so communicative and helpful - and the views from the restaurant / pool are fantastic. Would stay again if the price was a bit lower, maybe in off season, but would consider this a 4 star hotel, not 5.

Summary: The location, staff, and amenities of the Hotel Albatroz made our six-day stay in Portugal all the more pleasurable. Cascais is a wonderful seaside resort, once summer home to a wealthy international clientele and exiled nobility. The core of the Albatroz occupies a grand old mansion on the beach with spectacular ocean views, elegant and comfortable appointments. There is a fine restaurant and cozy bar with wonderful vistas. The staff are friendly, solicitous, and helpful. Access to the Lisbon area train network is a short walk and there are countless shops, eateries, and interesting local sites within easy walking distance. We would gladly stay at this fine hotel again!
