Summary: The property was beautiful and in walking distance of a lot of food and entertainment. The room was spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave great recommendations for dinner and drinks! There was a wedding/reception during our time there, but they were wrapped up by 11 pm. Just ask staff if there is an event during your stay. If you are sensitive to sounds/music, keep in mind the main building has the venue. Possibly ask to stay in one of the annex locations across the street. I enjoyed my stay and will return!

Summary: Pit stop on our trip cross-country. Cute, historic town with a cool waterfront and interesting buildings. The hotel was very nice with a helpful staff. We were there on a Sunday and very little was open. Would return when we know events are taking place as I am sure it would be fun.

Summary: We didn’t arrive until 2AM and it was no issues at all for anyone. Very friend’s and clean. Easy to find and park.

Summary: Room and hotel were clean and really cute. We were a little confused about parking and were to enter the hotel.

Summary: Very spacious loft style rooms right in the downtown area. The rooms had high ceilings and were very modern with nice seating area and retro fridge. The bathroom had the largest shower we’d ever seen, walk in style that could fit a family of four! Had a nice sized soaker tub and marble flooring! We weee staying in the Annex area across from main hotel and had a parking space in alley right outside the entrance— very convenient! The hotel doors are all electronic code for security and there was a common area in the hall with ice and microwave, etc. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, walking me over to the room and showing me how to access the doors using codes. Only issue we had was the hot water in the bathroom sink wouid not start flowing until you had to first turn it on in the bathtub….seemed like a weird plumbing issue? Otherwise, this was a very nice hotel with lots of room for our dog too.

Summary: This is the cutest hotel ever! You can walk to wonderful shops and restaurants. Paducah is a hidden gem !

Summary: We love staying at The 1857. We’ve stayed multiple times throughout the years. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the bar situation. More often than not when we stay the bar is closed for a private event. It’s inconvenient.
