Positive: We absolutely love Thatched Eaves, honestly, this is our happy place. We will go back yearly, and we absolutely love Alice and Andrew; they are so kind and make us feel like we are part of the family. I cant fault one single thing. It is the cleanest place i have eer stayed and it is so warm and comfy. The breakfast is also 10/10.

Positive: We had such a lovely stay at thatched eaves! Alice was super helpful prior to our stay sending recommendations of things to do in the area and places to eat! On arrival Alice was straight out to greet us and show us to the coach house. It was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was set up and ready to go. Alice pays great attention to detail. It was super clean and inviting. The travel cot was set up for our little one year old. I really liked the little tick list of breakfast menu the night before as your breakfast it made exactly how you like it and minimal waste with unwanted food items. The breakfast was luuuush! I love a good scrambled egg and these eggs were exquisite *chefs kiss* the food was fresh and local. Not a huge sausage fan but I loved these ones! My little boys aged 1 and 2 ate for free which was a nice touch and they loved it as well they are little foodies they had pancakes the first day and the second day a little fry with yoghurts. Alice interacted with all of us, nice making the effort with the boys. We enjoyed going to some of the recommended places. We were in a good location I would say! Our fav was long down farm SO much fun!! The cottage is absolutely stunning I wish I lived in it. There’s supermarkets local enough and most places within a 30 min drive. The new forest is gorgeous and we also took a trip to Bournemouth on the way home! Alice is so lovely, a great host and a nice touch was noticing the balloons and cards in our room for hubbys birthday he was given a little treat of an ale in the fridge - so thoughtful. Would love to return one day! Thanks so much for such a lovely stay! A lovely lady and a beautiful cottage!!! Lots of love Kirsty, Dave, Cillian & Ciarán x

Positive: The property is full of charm and character, with its traditional features creating a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that showed real care and attention to detail. One of the true highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Freshly prepared each morning. I personally like the toast in sweet chilli jam, slices of avocado and soft pouched egg. It was PERFECT! The surrounding area is so calm, perfect for a relaxing break. It is also conveniently located for exploring nearby attractions. We would wholeheartedly recommend The Thatched Eaves to anyone looking for a peaceful, charming, and welcoming place to stay.

Positive: We wanted to be away from everyone so loved the individual, private accommodation. We felt away from everyone. Everything you could possibly want has been included. Breakfast is delicious, I loved the local smoked trout. My husband loved the full English. Alice and Andrew are fabulous hosts.
