Positive: The staff is very friendly and helps any way they can. The location is great! Too bad we had a full moon because when it's dark at night you could see some many stars (so if you can, avoid the full moon). Sitting outside on the porch of the cabin is possible until late at night and you'll see a lot of wildlife right in front of you. Follow the driving instructions of the ranch and don't trust your GPS! You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner in the nearby Bad Rabbit Cafe.

Negative: That I only stayed 2 days!

Positive: wonderful! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The Cafe was awesome! Very good food although a limited menu. I liked the solitude. The staff was friendly.

Positive: No lights! And that was amazing! They try to preserve the dark, avoiding light pollution. This way you can touch the stars with a finger!!! Amazing! Well done!!

Negative: I didn't understand the last 3 miles of the road were unpaved and with my sedan, four people in it, it was a little uncomfortable. No hair dryer in the room (it is available, but u have to go pick it up at the reception) No tv (thats fair, seen the place you are) Low internet connection (reasonable as well))

Positive: The accommodations were very clean and beds very comfortable. We really enjoyed our dinner at the Bad Rabbit Cafe.

Negative: We were a little far from places we wanted to see which made for alot of driving and those 3 miles of washboard road about did us in!

Positive: Beautiful surroundings, very nice rooms. The food and drinks in the bar last night were pretty good.

Negative: The breakfast buffet this morning was quite awful. It was a complete rip off at a price of almost $22. Still would have been bad at $4.95 The park service should be embarrassed by providing this low level of quality.

Summary: Very nice but over priced place to stay. Really mediocre food.
