Positive: The view and the house(s) are incredible. The pool is nice.

Negative: Communication was poor. No one was present at check-in, nor at breakfast. Breakfast is very small; it's best to skip it. The way we were treated felt somewhat distant; I would have expected something different from this kind of agriturismo (it has four units). The owner's dog is very naughty (and cute), and when he grabbed my boyfriend's socks by the pool and bit holes in them, no attempt was made to engage in conversation or anything. They just laughed it off. It might be a small thing, but it showed us that the property doesn't really care about its guests. It's a real shame, because the accommodation is otherwise beautiful and inviting!

Positive: I liked the location, at the same time quite remote and a short drive from a city of Matelica, I liked there was a lot of trees and a lot of space all-around. I liked that when we asked for toilet paper, cutting board and a knife they were provided in short time.

Negative: I did not like that I was not warned there could be scorpions in the house (and there were two). I did not like that during the day some people from outside showed up and chilled by the pool, then left in the afternoon or the evening (so apparently they were not the guests of the place). I did not like that the breakfast had only sweet options available (only on one day we got boiled eggs but no salt/pepper and on two days there were a few pieces of cheese available) - after reading some opinions about diversified breakfast I was expecting other diversity than only multiple pastries. I did not like that twice we run out of coffee pods in the coffee machine. I did not like that table bins were not emptied from previous days (I think it's also not really hygienic). I did not like that the buns were hard as rocks and it seemed like each day they were the same as they got even harder with time. I did not like there was no lemon/yogurt available on more than one day. I did not like that on one day the pool was not cleaned and lots of bugs/bees/wasps/spiders were inside so we had to clean up ourselves to be able to swim. I did not like that the pool equipment was not maintained - one umbrella was torn, some lounge chairs were rusty, lounge chair pillows were not clean. And finally - WiFi was supposed to be working on the whole property - there was only one place outside of the house where it was actually working - so considering that cellular data coverage is very weak you had to spend lots of time on the steps outside of the house in order to use internet i.e. for planning some activities for next days.

Summary: Friendly staff but the place needs some maintenance - great location though.

Positive: A relaxing holiday home with a spectacular view of beautiful mountains. You could hear the birds all day long. The pool was large, clean, and lovely. The rooms were spacious for 4 people, with kitchen facilities as well. Breakfast was good. The owners were helpful.

Negative: WiFi didn't work while we were there, and this was a positive for us as we were completely unplugged & relaxed. The pillows could be softer.
