Positive: Our little Telegraph Retreat Cottage was gorgeous! The bed was incredibly comfortable, as was the sofa bed. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. Mark was very friendly. Would love to have had a lot more time to potter around the gorgeous grounds and meet all the critters! Highly recommend as a lovely escape for the soul !

Positive: Mark was lovely -very welcoming. What a beautiful setting and not far from the highway (although far enough not to hear traffic noise) - the goats and dogs were fab and we saw kangaroos in the evening. There is a pub a short drive away where you can grab and evening meal and we visited Ricardo's tomatoes for breakfast and strawberry picking. There is a nice pool too.

Negative: Not much not to like.

Summary: Beautiful place, lovely setting and very welcoming.

Positive: Everything. Has such a homely feel to it. Good distance from Port Macquarie. Very comfortable - any time spent here rain hail or shine would be beautiful.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like - if anything it will be great to see the Forest Trail completed. It will only add another relaxing thing to do.
